ELECTROCOAGULATION TREATMENT PLANTS
Wastewater treatment by Electrocoagulation, results in better quality of effluent; Results in little sludge. It is non biological and so has no odor. The cost of treatment is lower than a Bioreactor and space taken is minimal. It is functional at all temperatures and can be shut down when needed.
THE ELECTRIC CURRENT DESTABILISES DISSOLVED COLLOIDAL PARTICLES AND ALTERS THE CHARGE ON SUSPENDED PARTICLES PERMITTING THEIR COAGULATION, FLOATATION AND SEPARATION
ELECTROCELL: The preoxidised (by hypochlorite) Wastewater from the Equalisation tank is pumped to the ElectroCell at a uniform rate.ElectroCell is an Electrolysis Process meant to Electro Coagulate and destabilise the suspended organic and inorganic solids within the sewage waste. The charged ionic species are removed by allowing it to react with an ion of opposite charge. Aluminium or Iron releases positive ions to coagulate the suspended particles.
ELECTROLYSER:Use of Cast Iron Electrodes to ease the process of electrolysis.
FILTRATION: The treated water from ElectroCell moves by gravity through its Sand filter to Activated Carbon Filter which acts as a Final Tertiary Treatment. The Gravity Filtration ensures cleaner discharge.
Our system of treatment involves low capital cost, smaller foot print and ease of operation and maintenance.
Our Treatment Process is unique as our first step is to reduce biodegradable organic load.
Our latest innovation is the development of a Unit to treat pathological lab liquids, which are highly contaminated with all kinds of dangerous infectious viruses, as well as the hazardous chemicals used in lab tests.
The treatment involves as a first step, total disinfection, removal of inorganic in laboratory reagents and subsequent filtration before discharge in sewer lines.
Another development is to exclusively treat the wastewater from Operation Theaters (O.T.). The process uses herbal coagulants, to avoid the need for pH correction.
This year we have installed more than a score of Effluent Treatment Plants for hospitals, in U.P., Bihar, Uttarakhand and Rajasthaan
